Dear Praying Friends:
We start out this new year with high hopes that 2017 will be the best year we’ve ever had here at Victory Baptist Press. We are fully convinced that the Lord is able to provide every need we have when it comes to printing and providing the Word of God for the mission fields which still stand “white already to harvest” (John 4:35 b).
Vicki and I want to say thank you for all the prayers and support that were sent our way during 2016, and we continue to need you as our co-laborers as we strive to get the Gospel to the uttermost parts of the world. We were humbled and blessed by all the cards and gifts we received during the Christmas holiday. We had a wonderful time with our friends and family as 2016 came to a close, and we started this year with the Jubilee at Victory Baptist Church, where we had a great time in spite of the bad weather.
Since our last prayer letter, we have preached and presented VBP in three churches in Kentucky, three churches in Florida, ten churches in South Carolina, and one church in Georgia. All in all, we’ve traveled about 5,500 miles in the past two months. To God be the Glory for his safety.
With this new year getting started, if any of you pastors want us to come by your church sometime this year and give an update on the press, please give us a call. We’d love to do it. We ask for your continued prayers for more open doors in new churches and the Lord’s guidance for the up-coming projects we are hoping to print this year. We should be starting the project for Haiti, which we spoke of in our last letter, soon. Another container of Bibles left our print-shop two weeks ago, headed for Peru, to be distributed all over South America. Amen!
